Comic-Con Registration Down Again

Fans Must Wait to Buy Passes

Comic-Con Fans have overloaded registration for Comic-Con 2011 once again! For the second time, fans of Comic-Con International crashed the site during registration, even though this round of registration started earlier in the day than the first attempt did. Officials at Comic-Con have left a new comment on the site about the once-again closed registration:
Once more, unfortunately, there have been issues with Comic-Con registration. So we have again decided to close it down. We are well aware that many people have taken time from work, school or other activities and others woke up very early. There really is no way to convey our level of regret for this turn of events. We are currently researching our registration options.
Hopefully the issues will be fixed soon and fans will be able to purchase tickets to the highly anticipated event. As always, Comic-Con will be held at the San Diego Convention Center from July 21-24th. Tickets will be available on the official site once registration reopens with four day passes for sale at $105 and single day passes starting at $37. Queen Sophie-Anne's House For Sale!

Reduced! The Estate Is Now On the Market For Only $34.5 Million

Vampire Bill (Stephen Moyer) & Queen Sophie-Anne (Evan Rachel Wood) in a natatorium that has a pool, glass ceilings and walls lined with more than 500,000 seashells

Wouldn't you love a chance to spend a night or more—it has rented monthly for $250,000—living it up in Queen Sophie-Anne's (Evan Rachel Wood), very True Blood-style, 8-acre, Malibu oceanfront estate? If you answered yes, then you should hear (and see) some neat details of this totally unique mansion, 'La Villa Contenta', that makes it truly 'fit-for-a queen.' The centerpiece for many of the True Blood scenes was in the breathtaking, gilded natatorium with it's striking glass ceilings and eye-popping half-million shells-lined walls. A total dream house for both fangbangers and vampires!

Queen Sophie- Anne's mansion now a Malibu listing for $250,000 per Queen Sophie- Anne's mansion now a Malibu listing for $250,000 per month Queen Sophie- Anne's mansion now a Malibu listing for $250,000 per month

The estate is on the market for $34.5 million with a 1.52-acre parcel (but if you want the entire 8-acre parcel, it will cost $75 million). The three-story home features 11,500 square feet of space, 4 bedrooms, 8.5 baths, a screening room, two maid's houses, a guesthouse, a gym and nine fireplaces.

Not only does the home look like a Hollywood star's palace--it actually has been in a number of films and television shows besides True Blood. La Villa Contenta can be seen both in Adam Sandler's comedy 'Funny People' and in Paul Rudd's 'I Love You, Man.' One must admit though, the home truly got a 'star turn' when it was featured in multiple episodes of True Blood as Queen Sophie-Anne's 'palace.' Of course, for Truebies the best part was Queen Sophie-Anne's famous daylight natatorium, which True Blood Production Designer Suzuki Ingerslev says took her breath away:
After all the location scouting I have done over the years, in my opinion, nothing even comes close to the amount of detail that went into this pool house. We all just stood there and took the room in the first time we went there, and pictures don't even begin to do it justice. The statues, chandeliers, chair rail and ceilings are all made out of a variety of various sizes of seashells and corals. It is astounding, and we could never accomplish this on our budget, and time frame. It is truly breathtaking and exquisite.

True Blood's Lorena Still Exhibiting Suspect Behavior

Mariana Klaveno to Guest Star on Criminal Minds Spinoff

Mariana Klaveno, True Blood's Lorena, will take on a new crazy role. She was bad. She was angry. She was jealous. Oh, let's face it, she was totally crazy. Lorena Krasiki, vampire Bill's maker on True Blood, was the definition of a woman scorned. Up until her true death, she exhibited behavior that was disgraceful and full of venom, mostly driven by her undying love for Bill Compton. The woman behind Lorena, Mariana Klaveno, has taken on a new machiavellian role with a guest stint on on CBS' forthcoming spinoff Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior. Klaveno will play Veronica, a spotlight-hungry hellraiser who excels at manipulating the opposite sex. Hmmm, sound familiar? Klaveno can obviously do crazy very well, so we have no doubts she'll put on a great performance as Veronica. Will you tune in to witness Lorena 2.0? True Blood Stars to Attend West Coast Fundraiser

When they're not working on True Blood, the cast of the show is busy trying to save the world. Kristin Bauer van Straten, who plays the feisty vampire Pam, and Joe Manganiello, who plays the newest werewolf in Bon Temps, Alcide Herveaux, will both make a special guest appearance at Trevor Live at the Hollywood Palladium. The West Coast fundraiser is presented by the Trevor Project and the night will revolve around laughter, music as well as awards for life saving projects the organization prides itself in. The Trevor Project will continue its tradition of honoring both an individual and corporation the positive impact and commitment in understanding the LGBTQ community. The special honorees this year are Kathy Griffin and Levi's. Adam Shankman will be the night's special guest show director and musical appearances will be made by a number of performers including Queen Latifah. The evening is divided into three sections: 3:30 - 5:00 pm Pre-reception Silent Auction and Hosted Bar, 5:00 - 6:00 pm Dinner Service, and 6:00 - 8:00 pm Trevor Live Show. Although tables are sold out, there is a waiting list. Even better, the Cabaret Tables are still available. For $400, guests receive 4 tickets to the show, which includes the pre-reception silent auction and hosted bar. For individual tickets, although the Titanium tickets are sold out, there are 7 tickets left in the Platinum level as well as individual tickets under the Gold, Silver and Cabaret sections. If True Blood has shown us anything, it has shown us to give back to our community, especially when it comes to our LGBTQ community, who are still fighting injustices. So come on Truebies, let's help support the Trevor Project in style and maybe we'll get a glance at two of True Blood's hottest actors! Maybe they'll even drop some Season 4 secrets. Anything is possible when you're rocking out for a good cause. Source: www.thetrevorproject.org — Trevor Live at the Hollywood Palladium (Photo Credit: HBO, Inc)

Continent-Hopping Kwanten Hits The AMA Red Carpet

'No Musical Talent Whatsoever'

Ryan Kwanten, True Blood's Jason Stackhouse, at the 2010 AMA Awards

Though his physical assets are obvious,  the good-natured Ryan Kwanten says he was 'blessed with no musical talent whatsoever.'  In a brief interview at the 2010 American Music Awards, True Blood's Jason Stackhouse says even so, 'he adores things' like the AMA's held in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theatre on November 21. The low-key Aussie actor made quite a splashy red carpet appearance looking casually stylish in a slim-fitting black dress shirt and gray pants topped by a matching fedora perched jauntily on his head and finished off with a matching tie. In a short interview with the Awards Show Network, the seemingly everywhere-at-once, continent-hopping Kwanten said he was most looking forward to seeing musical collaborations at the AMA's, such as those of Santana and Gavin Rossdale. It seems of all the sexy, True Blood bachelors, Ryan Kwanten really puts himself "out there." He seems a truly nice guy--a sort of Aussie/Sam Trammell, if you know what I mean. I like getting to know the guy behind the character of Jason Stackhouse. Ryan Kwanten is definitely not Jason other that on the surface, that's for sure. (They both sure are easy on the eyes, though!) Do you not agree? Source: AwardsShowNetwork - AMA 2010 Interview Ryan Kwanten (Photos: AccidentalSexiness.com)
