Alan Ball spoke about season 2 of True Blood and mentioned, as posted in USA Today, that Sookie (Anna Paquin) is "drafted into using her telepathic abilities to find a vampire in Dallas who's gone missing…, while her brother Jason (Ryan Kwanten) gets involved with the Fellowship of the Sun, an anti-vampire group." True Blood season 2 will premiere on Sunday, June 14, 2009 and will be based upon book 2 of Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse series entitled "Living Dead in Dallas." For those who have did not have a chance to catch Season 1 or others who want keep the memory of Season 1 with forever, True Blood Season 1 will be coming out on DVD and Blu-ray on Tuesday, May 19, 2009. Fans will be able to really become engrossed in the growing love story and strong chemistry between Sookie and vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer), now that Paquin and Moyer are a couple. Alan Ball states that filming is "easier because they're so comfortable with each other," Ball says. "And they really do love each other in real life." The DVD and season 2 cannot come fast enough for True Blood fans.
