In a recent article with Esquire, Deborah Ann Woll shares with them a joke about nuns. "Two nuns are driving down a road late at night when a vampire jumps onto the hood of their car. The one nun says to the other, "Quick! Show him your cross!" So the other nun leans out the window and shouts, "Get off our f--ing car!"We know and love Deborah for her character Jessica Hamby on HBO's True Blood. Deborah said that she would watch violent animal attack shows to help prepare for her role as the "newborn" vampire. This is not Deborah's first appearance in television before, she played performed on CSI, My Name is Earl, and the Mentalist. True Blood is, however, her first reoccurring role. Her character Jessica Hamby was created by Bill Compton as his punishment for killing another vampire. She has recently been given more of a story line during her love affair with Hoyt Fortenberry. Deborah said that playing a girl with fangs shows female empowerment.
