Sam Trammell has been very busy these days. ETOnline is reporting that True Blood's Sam Merlotte, played by Sam Trammel will be appearing in a new film called "Guns, Girls, and Gambling. This film is written and directed by Michael Winnick and is currently shooting in Utah. Sam is slotted to play the sheriff. The story line is about the search for a priceless American Indian artifact that ends up being stolen during a game of what else...poker. Other cast members include Gary Oldman as Mr. Crow, Christian Slater as John Smith, with Megan Park as Cindy, and Helena Mattisson as Annabel. Sam Trammell has also performed in Rope, Kite Marlowe, Ah, Wilderness! and Dealer's Choice, for which he was received a Tony Award nomination.
