Carrie Preston (True Blood's Arlene Fowler) and her husband Michael Emerson (Benjamin Linus of ABC's Lost) attended The Point Foundation's Point Honors gala at the Hollywood Renaissance Hotel in Los Angeles on September 26 (pictured left with Point Executive Director, Jorge Valencia). Carrie was a presenter during the event along with other celebrities including Lily Tomlin and Swoozie Kurtz. The Point Foundation provides scholarships and mentors to GLBT youth across the country. Two major awards were given during the event, including the Point Courage Award presented to Emmy award winning actress, Cherry Jones, and the Point Inspiration Award given to Motorola for the company's ongoing support of the GLBT community.
