Mehcad Brooks to Star in New Pilot for ABC

If you are missing Mehcad Brooks, who played Benedict "Eggs" Talley, in HBO's True Blood, then don't worry. He is going to be starring in a new pilot series by ABC entitled Generation Y which:

"revolves around a group of former high school students, tracking their paths over the past ten years and the events that have led them to where they are in the present day."

Mehcad Brooks will play a character who has been overseas in Afghanistan and is trying to get home to his expectant wife and see the birth of his first child. Right now you can catch Mehcad as a handsome lawyer on ABC's Deep End, then starting on March 21st you can catch him as "Eggs" in HBO's encore showing of Season 2 of True Blood.
