There's a new
True Blood casting call. This time, the casting is for
Episode 5 of
Season 3, which is entitled
Trouble, and calls for 4 guest roles, including
Eric Northman's parents
Ulfrick and
Astrid. The other two roles are for a
Wolf Pack Leader and a church girl with a crush on
Hoyt Fortenberry. Here are the details for these characters: In a flashback scene set in 900 A.D., we meet
Ulfrick,
Eric's (
Alexander Skarsgård) father.
Ulfrick is a Swedish Viking king in his 40s to 50s who has seen many battles as evident by his battle scars. Despite his position he is described as being warm and has a good relationship with
Eric however, there is some tension between the two of them because
Ulfrick wants
Eric to learn responsibility and behave in a manner befitting royalty. The casting call is for a guest star to portray
Ulfrick. In the same flashback scene set in 900 A.D. we also meet
Astrid, a Swedish Viking queen in her 30s with a new baby and is
Eric's mother. This casting call is also for a guest star to portray
Astrid. Another guest star casting call, this time for
Colonel John Flood who is described as the
Wolf Pack Leader in his 50s to 60s who is self-assured, and dressed like a golfer with a military haircut. Apparently he doesn't react the way
Sookie and
Alcide expect to recent events. It seems
Jessica better watch out or someone is going to take
Hoyt away from her. In the latest casting call a young girl in her 20s from
Hoyt's church is attracted to him in a chaste way.
Summer is described as super positive and a nice girl. Sounds like
True Blood's new guest characters are going to be giving us some new insight into a few of our favorite characters! Which of these four do you think will make the biggest impression on fans and do you have anyone in mind to play any of these characters? SOURCE:
