Michael McMillian, who played Steve Newlin, in HBO's hit series True Blood, will be appearing in an ABC Family original new movie Beauty & the Briefcase. This made for TV movie will premiere April 18, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. According to ABC Family this new movie which stars Hilary Duff, is about a young "New York fashion writer who goes undercover to find love in the corporate world". The movie is based off the book Diary of a Working Girl by Daniella Brodsky. Hilary Duff will play Lane Daniels. Michael McMillan will star as her boss, who graciously shows her the ropes of working at an Investment Bank. The movie centers around Lane Daniels choosing between chasing the career that she has always wanted and following true love. Micheal McMillian was introduced as Steve Newlin in Season Two of HBO's True Blood. Steve Newlin is the head of the Fellowship of the Sun and during season two, Steve introduces Jason Stakehouse into the Light of Day Institute.
