With Season 3 of True Blood done filming and Season 4 not set to start filming for a few more months, many of the show's stars have started working on other projects. Ryan Kwanten, who plays Sookie's brother Jason Stackhouse on the show, has signed on to star alongside Steve Zahn and Peter Dinklage in the movie "Knight's of Badassdom". The film, directed by Joe Lynch, is about medieval live action role playing. Ryan describes the film as: "It's sort of a comedy... like Shaun of the Dead meets Role Models. It's that real black comedy that I really love."No release date has been set for the film.
