True Blood did not received an Emmy nomination in the main categories, however, the Emmy board has announced their first round list of presenters for the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards show and it will include a True Blood cast member. Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton) has been selected in the first round list to present at the Emmy Award show scheduled to air Sunday, September 20, 2009 at 8pm EDT on the CBS Network. Other presenters named to date are: Simon Baker, Dana Delany, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, Alyson Hannigan, Jon Hamm, Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Jason Segel, Kiefer Sutherland and Chandra Wilson.
