Charlaine Harris, the author of the Sookie Stackhouse novels and the inspiration behind Alan Ball's hit HBO TV vampire series True Blood, will be speaking be at the Jabez S. Hardin Performing Arts Theater in the Columbia County Library in Evans, Georgia on January 23, 2010. The doors will open at 6:30pm and the event will commence at 7:00 pm. Charlaine is appearing at the library for their annual Columbia County Reads Together program. Due to the overwhelming response to this event the library will be handing out 450 tickets on a first come - first serve basis starting at 6:00 pm on the night of the event. The library will not be the distributing tickets earlier than this date and time. The library policy states that you must have a ticket in order to get into the event.
