An outspoken advocate for animal rights, True Blood's Kristin Bauer, who plays sarcastic vampire Pam, will be at the debut event for Buddha Bark Celebrity and Canine Style Lounge. Taking place in Hollywood at the Chaz Dean Studio from Friday, January 15, through Saturday the 16th, Kristin is featured along with other celebrity dog lovers in an extensive program to raise awareness about the Best Friends Animal Society, in particular their "Puppies Aren't Products" campaign that encourages people to adopt dogs from shelters. This celebrity event will feature canine grooming and massages, to a silent auction and dog fashion show, and guests will be able to relax and have fun while supporting the animal society. This weekend coincides with the 67th annual Golden Globe Awards, so those present will have the opportunity to be pampered alongside their four-legged friends and prepare for the glamorous night at the awards show. Kristin is being honored with the cast and producers of True Blood for a Golden Globe as one of the Best TV Drama nominees. She is once again showing what a caring person she is by taking time out of what is sure to be a hectic couple of days to promote a cause that is important to her.
