On January 15, 2009, the
American Film Institute held their
10th Annual AFI Awards Luncheon (sponsored by Hewlett-Packard) at the Los Angeles' Four Seasons Hotel, which honored artists from behind and in front of the camera. Several
True Blood stars were in attendance at the luncheon, which was an honoree-only affair. (In addition to the sponsoring the luncheon, Hewlett-Packard creates new scholarships to the AFI Conservatory, so this helps more than the attendees.) Since
True Blood won an AFI Award for Top 10 Shows of 2009, the cast was well represented. In attendance at the luncheon were
Sam Trammell,
Michelle Forbes,
Carrie Preston, and
Deborah Ann Woll.
