Hi Folks, To all the True Blood fans, here we go again, my second review of episode 6, season 2 for all the UK fans! A lot going on this week: lots of questions without answers to them until the next exciting episode. So I will go into several characters individually, as I have seen them in last week's episode. ERIC. Wow, how good does Eric look for 1000 yrs old. (Bite me please, I want to stay young looking). He seems to be bored with the usual, just plain old bite to eat; he likes a bit of resistance. Well I suppose after a 1000 yrs, not that many ways you can do it to make it more exciting. BILL. Surprisingly Bill has more hidden talents: SINGING ! 1926, suave Bill, looking rather like a James Bond, with a twist of a French accent. Maybe a recording contract in the post! A different side of Bill was shown tonight, gone was the loving vampire we see with Sookie, and instead a blood thirsty, sexual predator emerged, as well as different kind of love for his maker Lorena. Bill has a certain telepathy connection with Sookie when she is in danger. Will Lorena be able to over power Bill, and stop him helping the one he loves? LAFAYETTE. Lafayette is a shadow of him former self; bring back the witty, wise cracking old Lafayette. Surprisingly, Pam wants him to again go back to his old ways of collecting vampire blood, and selling V again... what plan has she in mind ? JESSICA. The love sick teenage vampire and Hoyt's arrival: well, we know her fangs appear when she is turned on...the question remains will he become her victim? SOOKIE and HUGO. So Sookie and Hugo go undercover, visiting the Light of Day Institute on the pretext of wanting to get married there. Does the Rev. Steve Newlin suspect them, or does he has other things in mind for them, now that he has kidnapped them. REV. STEVE NEWLIN. Rev. Steve Newlin is becoming more and more evil every week; he's imprisoned Sookie and Hugo. What is Rev. Newlin's plan, which Jason and Luke are contributing to by building the platform cross, God's work? Is it God's work to chain a vampire to a cross until dawn while an audience of the Institutes followers witness it ignite? Reminiscent of the Salem Witch Trials, burnt at the stake in God's name. Who is the most EVIL? SARAH. Sarah suspects her husband is lying to her about his motives, and that he wants to start a war. So she comes up with a plan...yeah, praise the Lord! Jason Stackhouse is the new leader, as God has told her so. God's Word, or just LUST I suspect. TARA and EGGS. Sounds like a cooked breakfast. Eggs seems to have had a sudden return of memory, yet doesn't have any recollection of why or how he knows these things. They follow a trail of scattered clothing and stumbling upon a orgy, which they are later seen taking part in. ANDY. While driving Andy, the drunken detective, shouts: "I KNOW THAT PIG." Maybe it was A Flying Pig ! SAM and DAPHNE. What seemed like a joining of kindred spirits for shapeshifters Sam and Daphne could be going horribly wrong. Sam was smitten with Daphne; they also seemed to be naked quite a lot lately. We now learn that Daphne can also change into a pig as well as a doe--anything else--while Sam seems to remain only as a dog. A walk in the woods, led by Daphne, was no coincidence... they also stumble upon the orgy, which already has Tara, Egg, Arlene and the whole town of Bon Temps participating in. Most strange of all is a vibrating Maryann. Now that Daphne has betrayed Sam, is he to be the sacrificial lamb so to speak, or should that be dog? MARYANN. Maryann is revealed as the BEAST, cows head, all that vibrating, does she have MAD COWS disease? More next week folks. CHEERS....BY ANNSAROCKER
