Anna Paquin who plays the cute and telepathic barmaid, Sookie Stackhouse in Alan Ball's hit HBO TV series True Blood is featured in the July issue of SELF Magazine. To celebrate the magazine's new L.A. issue it will be holding a party at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles on Thursday, June 18, 2009 where Anna will be attending along with Sam Trammell, Rutina Wesley and most likely Stephen Moyer and other celebrities. For the SELF Magazine shoot Anna shows off her amazing body on the beach wearing a blue and white checkerboard bikini leaning up against a surfboard while in other photos she is wearing a blue floral summer dress and lastly a yellow shirt with blue plaid shorts all instilling a 50's vibe to the whole photo shoot. When Anna started working on the set of True Blood she had to get use to the daisy duke shorts and tiny, tight t-shirts that consisted of her wardrobe. Now she is quite comfortable wearing them and with herself in them. "After I was cast and realized my body would be exposed all the time, I went out and bought some shorts--I owned none--to help me get used to it," she said. "I've learned to feel very comfortable wearing very little. It's liberating!
