Anna Paquin as Sookie Stackhouse What are you most excited about in the new season? The really exciting things I can't tell you about. [Laughs.] Everything is just bigger and better. There's more characters, there's bigger action. It's bigger, sexier, scarier, crazier, weirder! What does Sookie see in Eric? Well, right now, nothing. He's trying to mess up her happy situation. How do you find the balance for real emotions in such a fantasy world? The writing is based in reality, and it has really beautiful human moments. And that's credit to our writers, and Alan [Ball] for his vision.
Stephen Moyer as Bill Compton So we hear Eric causes some tension between Bill and Sookie this season? What I like about it is that Eric goes in and fusses it all up. And he's out for his own ends. Is it difficult to see that connection between Sookie and Eric? It's really difficult—difficult for me, and really difficult for Bill. It's a good thing I like Alex SkarsgĂ„rd as much as I do, or there'd be trouble! How different is the second season from the first? I think the writers have been allowed to go so much further than they ever thought. I don't think anybody knew what we'd get to existed. It goes to some very, very interesting mad places.
Alexander Skarsgard as Eric Northman We hear Eric may be show a more sensitive side in season two. It's definitely more personal in season two. It's more sensitive. You'll see that he has emotions, believe it or not. We've also heard that there could even be a love connection between Sookie and Eric this season. What's that all about? Well, Sookie will see another side of Eric. The same thing as the audience. They're pretty much only seen one side of him. Things might change a bit. If you had three words to describe season two, what would they be? It's wild, sexy and fun.To read the complete Q & A with the entire cast of True Blood click here.
