One of the most often asked questions about True Blood is how do they make the fangs and how do they appear to pop out and retract. The answer is the result of special effects by Zoic Studios who create the vampire effects on Alan Ball's hit HBO TV series True Blood. As Zoic Studies explains in a episode of Science of the Movies: Crafting an Action Figure they actually use the rattlesnakes as models for their digital fang work for the series. The episode will re-broadcast on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 10PM/ET on the Science Channel.
