Mehcad Brooks New Project On "The Deep End"

Mehcad Brooks, who portrays Tara Thornton's love interest, Benedict "Eggs" Talley, on Alan Ball's highly successful HBO TV vampire series True Blood has landed the role as a regular in ABC's upcoming legal drama "The Deep End."  Mehcad has been cast in the role of  Malcolm Bennet, an associate at a prestigious LA law firm where the show is set. Now this announcement has many True Blood fans wondering what does it mean in regards to his character on the show.  Will Mehcad return to True Blood for season 3 or is this an indication of something about his character leading many to speculate on the fate of Eggs in the season finale.  We will have to wait and see what will happen in the season finale of True Blood which will air on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 9pm on HBO.
