True Blood season 3 casting news is a great way to start the first Monday of the new year with the latest information about Lafayette's (Nelsan Ellis) Latin love interest. Kevin Alejandro, who stars in the police drama "Southland" has been cast play Jesus Velasquez, the Latino orderly who is taking care of Ruby Jean Reynolds (Alfre Woodard) at her care facility and becomes Lafayette's love interest. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kevin is expected to appear in almost every episode of Alan Ball's hit HBO TV vampire series True Blood. Kevin is slated to still remain a regular on "Southland," which recently moved from NBC to TNT. Because of the scheduling of the cable network's 13 episode cop drama, Kevin will be able to shoot True Blood as well. Kevin has also appeared in "Shark," "Drive," "Ugly Betty" and recently recurred on "Weeds." Another wonderful piece of casting news which will definitely add to the anticipation of the return of True Blood for season 3. SOURCE: The Hollywood Reporter (Photo credit: NBC.com)
