Carrie Preston's "That Evening Sun" Nominated for Two Independent Spirit Awards

That Evening Sun, which we reported on yesterday for its upcoming screening at the Macon Film Festival in a few weeks, has earned two nominations for the prestigious Independent Spirit Awards. Ray McKinnon has been recognized for his performance in the Best Supporting Male category, and Mia Wasikowska for Best Supporting Female. McKinnon plays Lonzo Choat, who is married to Carrie's character Ludie, and Wasikowska portrays their daughter. Other nominees in their categories include:
