Nathan Barr is A Top 100 US Film Composer

Making music for movies and television can be a very profitable enterprise. This is especially true if you're composing the scores that are being used. Take, for example, the lovely Nathan Barr, who composes the scores used for True Blood. He was placed on a list of the top 100 most successful film composers in the US by MovieScore Magazine. Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, etc.) took the top spot, and John Powell (who has worked on other of Anna Paquin's movies like X-Men, the Last Stand) in second. Nathan, who also is well known for some of his horror movie scores, like Hostel and Shutter, is in the 71st position on the list, having made approximately $241 million over the last decade. Our congratulations to Nathan for his well-deserved placement on MovieScore Magazine, and we hope he continues to be successful in creating such wonderful, memorable scores.
