The season 3 premiere of True Blood was a huge hit according the latest ratings that just came out today. On Sunday night HBO's True Blood averaged 5.1 million viewers which is a increase of 38% from Season 2's premiere viewership. The 11:00 pm telecast brought in a averaged of 1.3 million additional viewers with a total of 6.4 million viewers in all. Very impressive results for a premium cable channel considering the NBA finals and the Tony Awards were also on. Looks like True Blood is off to a great start!
