Anna Paquin from Alan Ball's hit HBO TV series True Blood took part in the Stars For A Cause Auction which featured a range of rare and collectible items, such as posters signed by various stars, shoes, bags adorned with kisses and jewelery all donated for the auction. The auction was held by Bonhams and Butterfields Auction House in Los Angeles on May 28, 2009 with half of the proceeds from the auction going to charities chosen by the participating stars and the other half going to the Prince's Trust which helps young people develop confidence, motivation and skills to find work. Anna's item that was up for auction was an autographed 2009 Golden Globe® poster with half the proceeds going to the Prince's Trust and the other half going to Anna's charity: Amnesty International.
