Deborah Ann Woll, who portrays teenage vampire on Alan Ball's hit HBO TV series True Blood is set to star in the remake of the 1980 cult horror film, Mother's Day. In the original film, from Troma Entertainment, three female friends go camping and come across two brothers who engage in murder and rape to impress their deranged mother. In the remake version, Deborah will play the daughter of the psychopathic family who return to their childhood home and terrorize the new owners and their guests. Twisted Pictures, the Genre Co., Rat Entertainment and LightTower Entertainment are behind the remake which is set to begin shooting in the fall in Manitoba, Canada to be released in time for Mother's Day (2010). The film will be directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, who shot three of the "Saw" movies. Sounds like it there will be lots of blood. Perfect for our newly turned vampire from True Blood.
