Lady Gaga Video Starring Alexander Skarsgard Up For MTV Video Music Awards

Alexander Skarsgard, best known for his role as Eric Northman in Alan Ball's hit HBO TV vampire series True Blood recently guest starred in Lady Gaga's music video entitled "Paparazzi".  In the video Alexander portrays Lady Gaga's love interest who decides to end his relationship with her using drastic measures. Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi" video has been nominated in several categories for this year's MTV Video Music Awards which will be telecast on Sunday, September 13, 2009.  The video has been nominated for the following categories:

• Best Direction
• Best Editing
• Best Special Effects
• Best Cinematography
• Best Art Direction
