While some viewers may think the writers of
HBO's hit series,
True Blood, can sometimes push the envelope on the plotlines,
Rutina Wesley feels otherwise. In an interview with
digital spy,
Rutina, who plays
Tara Thornton, said she's comfortable with the script because the story makes sense. Given the nature of the show, anything can happen. And when given something challenging to perform, she believes creator
Alan Ball and his writers do a great job at making sure everyone is comfortable with it. No matter what outrageous things they are asked to do,
Rutina also attributes the close friendships developed by the show's cast members that enable them to more easily handle those challenging scripts.
"I love the camaraderie that we have. We're like a big family, and we all look out for each other and take care of each other. And that makes for a safe environment."
We'll be seeing more of these challenging scripts as
Season 3 unfolds, starting
June 13. Source: digitalspy.com (Photo credit - HBO Inc.)
