The 2009 14th Annual Satellite Awards, presented by The International Press Academy, will be held December 20, 2009 at the Grand Salon of the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, California. True Blood has been nominated for the DVD Release of a TV Show Award and Anna Paquin's movie, "The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler," is nominated for the Motion Picture Made for Television Award.
