True Blood won at the 2009 14th Annual Satellite Awards, last night December 20, 2009, which was presented by The International Press Academy and held at the Grand Salon of the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, California. True Blood – The Complete First Season won in the category: DVD Release of a TV Show Award. Also True Blood was honored with a Special Achievement Award for Best Television Ensemble!
