More casting news for season 3 of True Blood. This time Michael Ausiello from EW.com is reporting that Shannon Welles (Roger Sterling's Mad Men mama) has signed on to guest star in an early season 3 episode as a mysterious old woman who lives in the middle of nowhere. Now as I recall in previous casting calls this mysterious old woman who lives in the middle of nowhere may be the woman named Olivia in casting calls that Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) is to encounter who she mistakenly believes to be her son. Now with Bill being kidnapped, will this be an actual scene that he experiences or a flashback scene that he will remember while being tortured. Either way all these casting news reports this past week is definitely building the frenzy and anticipation of the return of season 3 of True Blood.
