Preston's Must-Have Products

True Blood's Carrie Preston is always asked what products she uses to look so great. She recently sat down with realbeauty.com to reveal some of her must-have products.   Preston's overall beauty tips include using sunscreen, eating well, portion control and exercise.  She says that she works out as much as she can and that she enjoys hiking and pilates.  

Facial Moisturizers

Preston reveals that she has very sensitive skin so once she found a moisturizer that worked, she stuck with it.  She uses Jan Marini Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant with SPF 30 that doubles as a sunscreen and primer.  She says it goes on smoothly and smells nice too!  Her next beauty must-have is La Mer Moisturizing Cream which she applies at night.  She says:

"When you're an actor, your skin is your meal ticket. To keep mine in check, I splurge on La Mer Moisturizing Cream and apply at night. I'm not one of those people who lathers tons of creams on, and this one repairs my skin overnight without leaving buildup behind."

Body Moisturizers

To keep her body moisturized and looking nice, Preston uses LaLicious Sugar Kiss Body Butter.  Since perfumes are too strong for her to wear, she says she is always looking for nicely scented body lotions.  She says the LaLicious product "makes me smell good enough to eat, and what girl doesn't want that?".

Cosmetics

After the trouble of using a wig on True Blood for the first two seasons, Preston decided to dye her hair red and accordingly, had to rethink her make-up choices.  For eye shadow she uses NARS Brazil Eye Shadow because it really makes her eyes "pop".  On her face she uses NARS Machu Picchu Sparkling Face Power to keep her skin from looking too pale.

Fashion

Preston always looks gorgeous on the red carpet and says she is a dress girl.  She gravitates towards Theory and Catharine Malandrino because the cuts look great on her and she can always find something to wear in those fashion lines.
