True Blood's Rutina Wesley Meeting fans in Chicago at Two Events

True Blood fans will have two chances to meet up with Rutina Wesley, who plays the resilient Tara Thornton on True Blood.  Rutina is in Chicago today, Monday, September 6, 2010 and will be greeting fans at two events.

The first one will be at: McFadden's Restaurant 1260 N. State Street Chicago, Illinois 1:30pm - 2:30pm Then later on Rutina will be at the RCN VIP True Blood Bash at: John Barleycorn 3524 N. Clark Street Chicago, Illinois 60657 9:00pm – 12:30am Space is limited, so come early. Register now and you'll also be able to enter the party at 9:00pm, instead of 10:00pm, when the doors open to the public.

Rutina says that she is excited to be in Chicago and to meet the fans and some old friends.

"I can't wait to reacquaint myself with Chicago," says the actress, who will be in town for two appearances today. "And I can't wait to get in touch with fans of the show who have been so, so supportive." Wesley, who did her undergrad at Indiana's University of Evansville, says, "I'm hoping to meet up with a good friend of mine from Joliet and just relax down on the waterfront by Buckingham Fountain."

As to what she hopes for Tara for next season she says that it would be nice to see her more stable in her life and back to being a strong, passionate person that she was before.
