No rest for the weary. One week after the season three finale of True Blood airs on HBO, Ryan Kwanten (aka Jason Stackhouse) will be walking the red carpet at the premiere of his latest film, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole. According to a press release, the premiere for the Warner Brothers film will be Sunday, September 19th at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. Arrivals at 3pm and screening at 5pm PST. So far, announced appearances from the film's cast in addition to Ryan Kwanten are Jim Sturgess, Anthony LaPaglia and the film's director Zack Snyder. Other celebrities expected to attend will be announced at a later time. Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'hoole is based a book series by Kathryn Lasky. The movie focuses on the owl Soren who is fascinated by his father's tales of the Guardians of Ga'hoole. These mythical guardians rescued the whole owl kind from the "Pure Ones." Soren's brother Kludd (voiced by Ryan Kwanten) doesn't buy the stories and a sibling rivalry culminates to a face-to-face meeting with the Pure Ones. It takes an adventurous owl like Soren to find the Guardians and help protect their kind. Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole is set for a wide release on September 24th.
