Kevin Alejandro Portrays Sexual Assault Victim on This Week's Law & Order: SVU
Kevin Alejandro, who plays Lafayette's love interest Jesus on HBO's True Blood, will be guest starring on an episode of Law & Order: SVU entitled "Branded". The episode, which airs on October 20, 2010, will also star Michael Gladis who was in the first three seasons of Mad Men. In the episode, both actors portray victims of a sexual assault who are branded and sodomized. When asked what inspired him to take on this role Alejandro replied: "It was a situation that I've never been able to play before with any other character. It's an experience that you go through and it's quite a challenge just to figure out what to do in the situation."Alejandro said that for him the biggest challenge in playing a character that has been brutalized like this, was finding a place within himself to tap in to.
