True Blood Stars Use Fame to Help Give Back to the Community
Since Season 1 premiered, True Blood has been a vampire show that prides itself in being more than a blood sucking good time; it focuses on getting fans socially aware and giving back to their community. Every cast member has a charity they not only donate to, but help spread its message to all their fans. Tanya Wright, who plays Deputy Kenya Jones, is not only spreading the word about her recent charity, but she's also encouraging fans to participate. Tanya will be the featured guest at the event at the Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley. This black-tie event focuses on clients of the AIDS Activities Office of Lehigh Valley Health Network, which provides 75o clients couseling and care. The party starts at 8 with drinks and hors d'oeuvres at Melt. The fashion show Haute in the Valley will start at 10 and is hosted by the Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley. If that wasn't enough fun for one night, salsa dancing will be held at 10:30 on Melt's Level 3 open-air lounge. Tickets are $25 and include one cocktail; guests must be 21 or older.
