The Celebrity Supported Annual Fundraiser Will Unveil a New High Speed Sea Vessel
Kristin Bauer van Straten, who plays sassy vampire Pam on True Blood, will attend the Los Angeles Night for the Oceans, an annual event hosted by Sea Shepard Conservation Society (SSCS). SSCS, whose main mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world's oceans, will disclose their new, high speed interceptor vessel, a much anticipated announcement since the previous vessel, Ady Gil, sunk last January. Bauer van Straten is very passionate about the environment and the protection of animals and has been an advocate for Tails for Whales, jewelry created specifically to support International Fund for Animal Welfare's (IFAW) campaign to protect whales.
