True Blood Season 3 Spoiler News: Arlene's Baby Drama

Carrie Preston True Blood Arlene FowlerKristin Dos Santos from E!Online had the opportunity to speak with Carrie Preston and ask her what is going on with Arlene and her baby drama.  Carrie's answer doesn't seem to clarify much, and in fact leaves many more confused and curious as to what we will see in the season finale and for season 4.   Carrie answers the following question, sort of:
"Jessica in Tenn.: Are we going to see something happen with Arlene's baby situation before the end of the season on True Blood? As a matter of fact, Mrs. Carrie Preston assures us we will…well, kinda. "Arlene is still very conflicted. But there's going to be a resolution to the conflict," she says, "But it's also going to be open-ended." Either she's speaking in tongues or my Emmy (lack of sleep and too much ginger ale) hangover is worse than I thought. Does that make any sense to anyone? Carrie's equally wonderful hubby Michael Emerson weighed in on the baby drama, saying, "I mean, we have to see the baby," to which she responded, "If there is a baby…" Now I'm really stumped. She's not pulling a Terri Schuester is she? Or preggo with some sort of supernatural somethin'? The mind boggles."

True Blood Women Get Their Emmy Faces On

Rutina Wesley (Tara), Anna Paquin (Sookie) and Mariana Klaveno (Lorena) all got dolled up for their appearances at last weekend's Emmy Awards.  Bellasugar.com did some pieces on how each of these True Blood ladies were beautified.

Anna's hair stylist was Renato Campora, explained he wanted to show off Anna's neck and shoulders because of her stunning Alexander McQueen gown. "The dress is very strong, and I wanted to show off her shoulders and neck," he explains. "I didn't want her hair to seem too severe, so I created a loose structure." The article explains the products and procedures Renata used to accomplish the soft upsweep Anna wore.  You can read the article by clicking here.

Makeup artist Agostina Lombardo said she wanted a soft, romantic look for Mariana who is known as the vicious vamp Lorena and is seen on True Blood wearing deep, sultry makeup.  In real life, though, she looks sweet and flirty. "I was going for a soft, romantic look with a twist," makeup artist Agostina Lombardo says of the look she created.  Read which makeup Agostina chose for Mariana's cheeks, eyes and lips by clicking here.

True Blood Men Are Best Dressed At The Emmys

Alexander Skarsgard, Ryan Kwanten, Stephen MoyerThe Emmy's Red Carpet brings the best fashion and the cast of True Blood was no exception. Interestingly enough three male cast members of the HBO hit series were given the honor of best dressed. Nine men were singled out for their sharp style, but it's number 4, 5, and 9 who True Blood fans are excited about. Stephen Moyer, Ryan Kwanten, and Alexander Skarsgard were praised for their sense of style. Stephen Moyer, who plays Southern gentleman and vampire Bill Compton on True Blood, took the number 4 spot in Alexander McQueen. Posing with new wife Anna Paquin, Stephen enchanted fans at home not only with his good looks, but with his proper British accent. In 5th place, Ryan Kwanten stood out in his slick look. Fans usually know Ryan as the undressed and sexy Jason Stackhouse. The Australian hottie didn't bother to shave, but still managed to look amazing in his navy suit and cranberry colored tie. At number 9, Alexander Skarsgard flew in from Europe the night before. The very tall Swede, despite the red eye flight, was glad to be at the awards ceremony; he joked that he didn't mind being Anna and Stephen's third wheel. He must be used to it, given that on the show he plays Eric Northman, the vampire vying for Sookie's attention, which causes Bill more than a little frustration. Others on the list included: Emmy host Jimmy Fallon in a navy blue Tom Ford tux who took the coveted number 1 spot,  number 2 Jon Hamm, Twilight dad Peter Facinelli took the 3rd spot in a crisp black suit and healthy tan, winner of the  Bob Hope Humanitarian Award George Clooney was at number 6 for his style and new haircut, Matthew Morrison, though he didn't win  for Best Actor in a Comedy Series, did win the number 7 spot on the best dressed list, while number 8  went to Boris Kodjoe, the star of Undercovers. Needless to say all the men at the Emmys left fans dreaming of being their red carpet dates. Source: yourtango.com--The Emmy's 9 Best-Looking Men (Photo Credit: Details Magazine)

VIDEOS: The True Blood Cast Interviewed on Red Carpets

The night of the Emmy Awards is always filled with red carpet interviews of stars. This year, everyone was interviewing the cast of True Blood about several different things, including the Paquin/Moyer wedding and the infamous Rolling Stone Magazine cover. In this first video, several members of the True Blood cast comment on the Rolling Stone Magazine cover that features Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, and Alexander Skarsgard. Many of the responses to the cover were about how the nudity is a "typical day at the office" for them. Marshall Allman takes it one step further to hilarious effect. The next video has the cast commenting on True Blood and what could happen in the future, as well as Anna and Stephen's wedding. The next video has both former and current costars of Stephen and Anna commenting on their wedding and how wonderful it was while they were at an Emmys after party. In the final video, Stephen discusses the rumor going around about him being cast as Dr. Doom in the next Fantastic Four movie. Though he denies knowing anything about it, Stephen sure blinks a lot while he discusses it. (Blinking rapidly can be a sign that someone is lying.) True Blood 3.11 "Fresh Blood" Review

Anna Paquin, True Blood, Sookie StackhouseEven in a fictional world like Bon Temps, things never seem to go as people hope or plan. "Fresh Blood," the penultimate episode in True Blood's third season, showed every character trying to fulfill their wishes and finding that reality doesn't always live up.

Bill & Sookie fantasize about a new beginning

After sensing her fear, Bill busts into Fangtasia looking for Sookie. Eric has already left, but Pam is keeping guard. Always the levelheaded vampire, she explains, "This is not just about your relationship, you infatuated tween. There's a bigger picture." When reason doesn't work, she uses water with silver particles, sprayed right into Bill's face. Down in the basement, Sookie is released by Yvetta, muttering about Eric, "Big, blond, stupid--I hate." When they get upstairs, Pam has burned Bill's eyes out with the spray. Sookie pulls her off with a silver chain. After Pam admits that Sookie was to be a gift for Russell, Sookie leaves to take care of Bill, while Yvetta restrains Pam and then takes the cash from behind the bar before departing. (Talk about a woman scorned…) In the car, Bill tries to impress upon Sookie all the bad things Eric has done, but she tells him that she's having a hard time trusting either one of them (understandably). Bill accuses her of having feelings for Eric, which she denies, although she acknowledges that she saw a different side of Eric on the roof with Godric. Bill wants Sookie to believe that they can have a fresh start. They imagine what that life would be like--they'd be happily married, she a real estate agent and he a 3rd grade teacher; they'd grow flowers and vegetables in a garden, go on double dates with Arlene and Terry, etc. It's a nice fantasy, but obviously it fixes nothing because their real life could never be like that.

Jesus: A literal Satan in a proverbial Sunday hat?

Whereas Lafayette is reeling from their V trip, Jesus seems a little overeager to tap into that power again. Lafayette turns to face him and for a second, Jesus' face transforms into a horned demon. Lafayette is understandably freaked out. He plays it off like he's experiencing a weird after-effect from the V, but he makes Jesus leave for the first time in days. Later, he wakes up to find the spiritual figures in his shrine dancing and speaking to him. I'm confused as to what's happening...

Jason's disillusionment

After learning that Crystal is a werepanther, Jason has trouble coping: "My brains feel like scrambled eggs. I got my ass chewed by a vampire, my sister's missing--" "Oh, poor you!" Crystal interrupts. "All I gotta do is marry my half-brother and let him breed me 'til I'm old or dead!" She really puts things in perspective for Jason. He goes to look for Sookie and clear his head. He ends up at the Bon Temps High School football field. The young hotshot quarterback, Kitch, is throwing balls to his friends. As Jason watches him, he realizes that Kitch has some superhuman abilities, side effects of V. He confronts Kitch for being a cheater, breaking the law, and being a disgrace to athleticism. He threatens to turn him in, but discovers to his dismay that Kitch's coach and parents are encouraging him to use vampire blood. Times have changed, and it may not be right or fair, but Jason can't hold the world around him to the standard he wants. It's this that sends him back to Crystal. He knows that he loves her, occasional panther or no, and he'd rather be with her than facing this crazy world alone.

Can Jessica have her love and drink it, too?

Jessica and Hoyt have one brief scene, and it might have been the best one of the entire episode. They are both so profoundly happy to be back together. It's a sign of how much Jessica has matured that she doesn't hold anything back from him, even though he gives her any easy excuse to keep it hidden with his "Don't know, don't care" line. She admits that she accidentally drained someone to death, and that the TruBlood diet doesn't work for her: "This is what you think you love. This is what I really am. I tried, but I can't live on TruBlood--I drink human blood. And I'm not gonna stop." Hoyt thinks it over, leans back, and says, "Drink me." She bites his neck, and he pulls her into a passionate embrace. For now, it looks like Jessica might be the only one to have her wish actually come true, that she can be with the man she loves and have him accept her. I could foresee a potential issue, however. As we've seen with Bill and Sookie, blood is an important part of the human-vampire relationship, but Bill has only ever drunk from Sookie to enhance their sexual experiences or when he needed to heal. He never viewed her as "food." Hoyt might not like it so much if Jessica seems to be using him as a blood bag. We shall see. Jessica also has Maxine Fortenberry working against her, who it turns out was pushing Summer towards Hoyt to get his mind off the dead girl: "That redheaded bloodsucker put a spell on him." Summer cries that she'll never get over her "Bear," but Maxine says it's not over yet.

Tara & Sam share grief and comfort

Tara's sadness over Eggs has been reawakened by the knowledge of what really happened. She cries over his grave and then goes to confront Andy Bellefleur. I'm not sure what she was hoping to gain by telling Andy that she was in on his secret--obviously she wanted to make him feel bad about himself, as if that would alleviate some of her pain. But when he opens up to her about the torment and regret he's been feeling, Tara's hard attitude softens, and then she doesn't know who to blame. She finds a kindred spirit in Sam, who has fallen into a black hole of misery and alcohol. In a drunken rage, he insults Terry, Arlene, and every single person in the bar. The worst part is what he says to Tommy, firing him and kicking him out of the rental house: "I'm sick of you! It's over now." Sam is tired of being trampled on because everyone thinks he's such a nice guy. Tara isn't scared of this angry side of him because she can relate--she's got a reputation for losing her temper and blowing up at people. Both Sam and Tara just want to be able to be themselves, to feel what they're feeling and express it. Once they find this common ground, they end up back in Sam's trailer having sex. And just like the last time they did this, it's for the wrong reasons and still doesn't make them a good match for each other.

Arlene goes fishing for an abortion

Arlene asks for Holly's help in getting rid of the baby she's so afraid of. I suppose the nature vs. nurture argument would be lost on Arlene, but she seems decided that Rene's evil nature would overcome Terry's nurturing love one day. She doesn't want an abortion, per se, but she wants Holly to work her Wiccan mojo to kill her pregnancy. Holly invokes the spirit of the "Great Mother" and gives Arlene an herbal tea. That night, she dreams that she's fishing, being called by her mom, when Terry shakes her awake because there's blood on the sheets. She assumes that she's lost the baby, and you can tell she's relieved, while trying to comfort Terry. Except, the doctor comes in and tells her the baby's fine and she just needs some rest. Arlene is probably going to be even more afraid of her baby than ever, like it's bound and determined to be born and bring darkness into the world.

Eric, Russell, and the ultimate vampire dream: daywalking

Eric seeks out Russell, knowing that he must intrigue the King enough so that won't be killed immediately. Russell asks him why Talbot had to die, and Eric reveals his quest for revenge. Russell laughs, "My, my. To lose the one man I ever loved because you miss your mommy and daddy? Well, that is a kick in the pants...Life is absurd. Still, I'm excited to destroy you." Eric then makes his proposal: "I can offer you the sun." Russell is enticed by the idea of getting past the greatest vampire weakness. If daywalking were really possible, he'd be invincible. Pam calls Eric to tell him that Bill and Sookie escaped, so Eric and Russell intercept them on the road. With one hand, the King is able to turn Sookie's car up on its end. When they all arrive back at Fangtasia, Eric provokes Bill into a fight to get him alone without the King and let him in on the plan. They need to convince Russell that Sookie's part-fairy blood is powerful enough to let him walk in the sun, even though the effect is only temporary. This is the first Sookie hears of that, and she immediately accuses Bill of lying to her. I do not like when she jumps to conclusions without thinking them through--how many times has Bill saved her life?!

Pam: Love thy Maker

Pam and Eric have a touching goodbye before he prepares to sacrifice himself to kill Russell. "You know I love you more when you're cruel and heartless." She nods and stays strong so that the plan can work. Then Eric and Russell drink Sookie's blood as Bill watches, helpless and upset. Eric walks outside, amazed to see the sunlight. He waves at Russell on the surveillance camera, before he walks farther into the parking lot where the steam rising from his body will be less visible. Russell begins to cry with joy: "My hands are shaking. I feel like a little child! Thousands of years of night..." He goes out and cringes in anticipation of the burning. When it doesn't come, he walks over to Eric praising the glorious sun. The Viking turns, revealing the burns on his face, and handcuffs Russell to his wrist, kneeling down to await death with his greatest enemy ever. Pam watches with tears streaming down her face. Sadly, Truebies, we now have 2 weeks to wait for the season finale because of Labor Day weekend. But sound off on your thoughts and theories about this episode! (Photo credit: HBO Inc.)

Sookie Stackhouse: The Thoughts of a Mind Reader

It sucks being me lately.  I can't even hear my own thoughts without someone invading my head.  The girl down the hall is upset she didn't get her pain meds on time, the man in room 127 thinks that if he were a woman, this would have never happened to him and you don't even wanna know what the teenager in room 128 is thinkin'.  No one should have to be in that head.  Unfortunately for me, I can't get away from it.   I seriously wish I could  slap a 'No Vacancy" sign inside my head-in neon!  It probably wouldn't help but it would make me feel better. It just seems that no matter what I do, shit happens.  You see, when shit hits the fan for me, it's just one big old mess that usually leaves me bruised and bleeding.  Well at least I'm still alive, unlike that bitch Lorena who I sent to her well deserved final death.  Surprisingly, I don't feel any remorse.  In my defense, I am pretty loopy.  Must be all the pain meds because on top of everything, I had the weirdest dream.  I was dancing in the graveyard with the most beautiful people.  It was like a cross between a renaissance festival and a trip back to the sixties all crammed into the Bon Temps cemetery.  It was crazy!  Although I was mighty confused, I wasn't scared. I felt more at home there than I have anywhere else since Gran died.  For a moment,  I thought I was dead but I felt too alive to be dead.  The main thing I remember is that woman Claudine told me it wasn't the water that killed my parents....now how would she know???  Then the darkness came and all the pretty shining dancers ran away. They warned me not to let him take my light...and I woke to Bill.  I felt like that little girl in Poltergeist for a moment, then I screamed..
Things have changed between Bill and and I.  To say our relationship has been strained is an understatement of a lifetime!  I don't even know what to think any more.  I can't help but wonder at this point if I even know how to make a good decision. Our relationship doesn't seem to go a day without someone getting killed and look at my house! Gran would have had a fit! No, we're not a normal couple, that's for sure. I was so happy when I first met Bill and it was utter bliss that I couldn't hear a damn thing he was thinking.  Yes, he was very handsome and a real Southern gentleman but the fact that every thought he had wasn't pounding on my head trying to get in made it such a relief to be alone with him , he lured me like a moth to a flame.  I had never been out with anyone who's motives weren't crystal clear but right about now, I'd give anything to get into that little head of Bill's. Really, I would.  The appeal of blissful ignorance has turned into a haunting night mare of doubt. I don't know how normal people manage at all.

What used to be a curse to me I see isn't really so bad.  Before the Vampires came into my life, hearing the thoughts of others, sheltered me in some ways. I never had to really take a chance or to trust anyone.  There was nothing about anybody that I didn't already know.  It was all right there in their head for me to listen in if I wanted to and some of the things I heard...whoa! They would make your skin crawl.  I spent a lot of nights alone watching chick flicks and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. And quite happily too...that is until I met Vampire Bill.  Funny, you don't know what you got until you see it from the other side.

Now, with Bill, for the first time every night is some new surprise.  I am so used to knowingwhat is going on and this not knowing is making me crazy. But it's kinda exciting too.  I'm changing and I don't know me any more.  I'm killing vampires and shooting at werewolves. Are the ones I hold dear in danger because of me? Because of what I am or who I love?  Me layin here in this hospital bed is at least partly my own fault.

Note to Self:  Next time you're alone in the back of a van with a half drained, blood thirsty, hungry vampire, refrain from using saws or any other sharp metallic objects that may come be at hand in order heal him with my blood.  It will not turn out well.

I know most folks don't think Jason's too smart, but one thing my brother has going for him is that he's a wonderful, caring person.  He has changed so much since Gran died.  I know my brother would die for me but I don't want any more folks dying. And now he seems to be some kind of policeman? [sighs] I sure wish Gran were here to talk some sense into him. There was nothing like a slice of Gran's pie and her words of wisdom to stop my brother from flying off the handle.

And Tara is all kinds of messed up! I don't know how she managed to get free but she could have left me high and dry but she didn't. Even when I wouldn't leave without Bill she managed to rescue us all. Whatever awful things she went through have really hurt her deep inside. She is so angry now. I know she doesn't want me listening to her thoughts and after what she's been through I have to keep her trust. I can only hope she'll talk to me, when she's ready. She's more determined than ever that Bill is bad for me and when I'm laying here nearly dead because of him how can I argue? At least she doesn't seem to be so sad anymore. I was really worried about for her for a while. It's not like Alcide is having it easy either what with the woman he loves being in a V addicted love frenzy with that white trash werewolf.  They already burned down his sisters hair salon.  No tellin' what they'll do next.  There's going to be trouble from him killing Coot too, not only Debbie Pelt will be after him but the rest of that jacked up on *V* pack. I did feel safe with him though. It was kinda nice. And Bill.  I know he's been cast out by both human and vampire because of protecting me, but then he turned on me like an animal in that truck. Worse than an animal, he nearly killed me and animals don't kill their mates! Everyone keeps warning me against him, Tara, Sam, even that Claudine woman whoever she is.. if she is real. Could she be right? Was she just my good angel trying to warn me how dangerous Bill is? and what does she mean he's going to steal my light? Was that just a fancy way of saying he'd kill me? Everything used to be so simple, if boring, before I met Bill. No matter what I do, what we do, things are just never normal. It's not just that I can't have breakfast with him it's that someone is always trying to kill us or getting in our business about being together. Sam, Tara, Eric and now even that crazy King of Mississippi. Who knew vampires had kings? I guess this is what it was like to be a mixed race couple in the South in the fifties. I'm just not sure I'm strong enough to be them. I'm not sure I trust Bill enough any more, or my own good senses. I am scared and I don't think I can do this any more. Mystery Reporter: Acting Sheriff Bellefluer & Wannabe Officer Stackhouse Exclusive

The Tattler is proud to present this most exclusive interview with Bon Temps Finest Acting Sheriff Andy Bellefluer and his  protege Jason Stackhouse.   It's a very rare opportunity to get such a candid, in depth interview.  Believe me readers, this is one of a kind.  Enjoy... MR:   Today I'm sitting down with a couple of the fine officials who keep the peace in Northwestern Louisiana: Acting Sheriff Andy Bellefleur and his assistant, Jason Stackhouse. Gentlemen, welcome and thank you for taking the time to talk with us. JASON: First off, I'm not Andy's assistant. I'm a cop. Well, almost. But soon I'll be legit, Ma'am. ANDY: It's my pleasure, Ma'am.  [glares at Jason] Now don't go tellin this fine lady you're a cop, Stackhouse. We don't need any misprints or lawsuits now do we? JASON: [shrugging] I'm already the best COP you've got, Andy. [to the reporter] Did he tell you how I made a drug bust on the biggest drug ring round 'bouts here. MR: No, I didn't hear about that Mr. Stackhouse. JASON: You shoulda been there, 'hon, I nailed about 5 or 6 of them with just these [flexes his arms for her]. Squeeze that! Bet the boys you work with don't have guns like these, huh? That's GRADE A 100% Bon Temps muscle fiber. MR: [flustered she drops her papers and scrambles to pick them up] Um yeah…Have you been on many drug busts Mr. Stackhouse? JASON: I've only been on the one, Darlin', but I plan on making these parts drug free as soon as I get my badge. MR: Congratulations, Sheriff Bellefleur on your recent promotion. ANDY: Why thank you, Ma'am. It was quite an unexpected promotion, but one I assure the folks of Bon Temps that I take very seriously MR: The outgoing Sheriff Bud Dearborne held the position for many years. Do you believe that you are fully prepared to fill those big shoes? ANDY: I do I believe I can fill any position the former Sheriff Bud Dearborn may have been in.  As for his shoes??   Cowboy boots just ain't my style. JASON: [Grinning and ducking his head in front of Andy] Even if he ain't, Ma'am, I'll be there to make sure that any shoes that need filling will be taken care of. [looking puzzled] Wait, does this mean I'm gonna have to shine shoes too? ANDY: Let me put that on the list Stackhouse. You can shine our shoes right after you wash the patrol cars and sweep the cells. MR: You've certainly had a turbulent few months leading to your promotion, Sheriff. You recently shot and killed a local young man who your report claimed was "brandishing a large knife" and communicating threats against your life. How does an officer of the law live with the weight of such a thing every day? ANDY: [sighs and looks nervously at Jason] Well ma'am, it's hard for me to talk about. The nightmares still haunt me. I keep dreaming my friends are being shot right before my eyes. Especially Stackhouse. That's one that I can't get out my head. [glares at Jason, nostrils flaring] JASON: [looks down at his shoes, and up at the reporter, and back at his shoes, and anywhere but at Andy] ANDY:  It just tears a man apart, the thought that I killed another man, all in the line of duty. JASON: [snorting] I'm sure you know all 'bout that- ANDY:  Stackhouse, enough… MR: Has your new "local hero" status changed the way you work? ANDY: Why yes, I think it has. I take things a lot more seriously around here now. This town needs protection and I aim to do just that. Even if it means I have to kill someone. MR: Mr. Stackhouse, you've had a rather sordid history with the Renard Parish authorities. How did you come to be interested in a position with the Sheriff's Department? JASON: Well, you see, I.... Well, my past is the past. And my future is like....[scrunching up his face like it hurts] There's a lot about that going on in my brain, right now. ANDY: [nudges Stackhouse and knocks the paper airplane out of his hand] Stackhouse, speak when you are spoken to. JASON: [sits quietly for a moment, tilting his head back and thinking about it] Okay, I got this, it was after that drug bust, I was tellin' you 'bout earlier, I just felt so good 'bout doing something for the community. And my Gran would be so proud of me [leaning in, cupping his hand to his mouth] You're probably not from around here, but I haven't given my Gran much to be proud of as of late, God rest her soul. ANDY: [said under his breath] that's the most truth come outta his mouth all week MR: Does the fact that Sheriff Bellefleur once arrested you on suspicion of murder ever cause a rub in your working relationship? JASON: [looking at Andy] Nah. [tossing his arm over the sheriff] me and Andy is pals now, ain't we? [pauses and looks back at the reporter]  Ma'am, is this gonna to be on TV? Where's the camera? [looks around the room] ANDY: [says under his breath] "Dumbass") MR: How does a man with a 1.6 high school GPA and no recorded law enforcement training end up behind the wheel of a patrol car stopping and reprimanding citizens? JASON: There is a good reason for that, pretty lady.  I've got all the training I need from playing football, and a special leadership conference that I attended on my summer vacation.  And I can drive a patrol car, they're just like regular cars. As for the citizens, that boy was gaining [whispers] Carmel knowledge [leans in closer] of that woman in a public area. [Sits up proud]  That's from the Bible…It was a Honda Civic duty I was performing. [pauses, scratching his head] Wait, what's a GPA? Is that like AIDS? ANDY: [phone rings to the tune of Hawaii 5-0 and he raises his finger up covering the receiver] Official police business.  You'll have to excuse me. MR: [looks to Jason] And the reports that you may have been seen pulling vehicles over with attractive female drivers... without your shirt? JASON: [grinning boyishly] Well, you see, I was undercover that day Ma'am.... as a car washer. It had to do with the drug problem case. And I can't be held responsible for a woman being pretty, much like yourself. MR: Why thank you, Mr. Stackhouse.  [blushes and looks at her paper, getting flustered]   Renard Parish is said to have the third largest reported number of "V" addiction cases in the state of Louisiana, only surpassed by New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Per capita, that makes your relatively small parish a national "V" hotspot. Why do you think that is and what is your department doing to combat the sell and purchase of "V"? JASON: [looking confused] I didn't learn the state capitals, well, least I can't remember, but I don't think we're supposed to have more than one and you named like 3. [tries to ge the Sheriff's attention] Andy?  Wanna help me out with this? [Andy shoots him a cold hard stare and brushes him off] JASON: You'll have to excuse him Ma'am, he's a busy man and he's cranky because he can't have his morning coffee any more. When he does he's hold up in the bathroom for hours.  [wrinkles his nose] and trust me, it ain't pretty.  That's why the Police force needs my blood, [leaning in and winking] I can stay up all night. I've got stigmata.  So looks like Andy's out. What'dya say you let me buff your bumper? MR: Well, I did do a stint as an exotic dancer in college... ANDY: Claps his phone shut and mutters, damn that Maxine Fortenberry and her MADV bullshit clogging up all the main arteries in my town with her protests, just like she clogged up that poor boy Hoyt's with those potato chip sandwiches for years.  No wonder that boy was a fat kid [throws his hands in the air] What you looking at Stackhouse???? JASON: Dude!  I was just about to score ANDY: You mean you think you were JASON: It was in the bag 'til you jumped up screamin, "PIGGGGGGG" MR: [Looks around nervously] Well, er, where were we? Ah, yes... ANDY: I did not say Pig I said kid,  I ain't seen no pigs since I stopped drinkin'  Shouldn't you be shinin' someone's shoes or washin' a carpet somewhere back at the station. JASON: Shouldn't you be eating a donut or somethin'? ANDY: Just shut your pie hole Stackhouse and let me catch up. MR: Sheriff, Jason...er... Mr. Stackhouse and I were discussing your area's drug problem. ANDY: Well that case out in Hot Shot is classified. MR: No, not that Sheriff, we were talking about how Renard Parish is said to have the third largest reported number of "V" addiction cases in the state of Louisiana, only surpassed by New Orleans and Baton Rouge.  Why do you think that is and what is your department doing to combat the sell and purchase of "V"? ANDY: Now those are too big of words for Stackhouse so here so let me answer it [cracks his knuckles forward and sits up proud then slumps, stumped for words] Shit, now I gotta answer it. JASON: Isn't as easy as it looks, huh. And, uh, Andy, that ain't the way to talk in front of a pretty, young thing like her. [flashes a smile at the reporter] ANDY: [leans into Jason with a whisper] This is not the time for "dick on". JASON: But Andy, you've known me all these years.  Has there ever been a time when it hasn't been dick on? MR: Can somebody please answer this question so we can move on? ANDY: I'm sorry ma'am,  If you ask me, it's gotta have something to do with that vampire boyfriend of Sookie's. Ever since he came around, things just ain't been the same around these parts. JASON: Can't we have one problem in town without blaming me or Sook? ANDY: Well come to think of it....NO! JASON: [crosses arms and stews] ANDY: [looks to the Mystery Reporter] I want it on record that I was not referring to the Stackhouses as the trouble here but in fact was referring to one Vampire Bill Compton. Not my fault Stackhouse has a guilty conscience. JASON: [mutters] Well, s'not like I got the hero bit to wash it away. MR: Moving on, gentleman. Your area also has a fairly high crime rate for its size, reported dog fighting, a decapitated John Doe, and several missing persons cases. Is this related to the heavy drug traffic in Renard Parish? JASON: We got dog fighting? They put on gloves and everything? I'd like to see that. [pauses] Wait a minute,  John Doe? Ain't he that college kid we got, laying down concrete, by the courthouse? He got D-Kappa-phi'd? I didn't know he was in a fraternity.  Weren't you in that fraternity Andy? ANDY:  No, the only fraternity I have ever been in is the fraternal order of police which you may never be a part of if you don't stop being such a dumb ass!  It's all in that manual I gave you Stackhouse.  I highly suggest you read it! MR: Sheriff? Any thoughts on the situation? ANDY: I'm thinking… JASON: Don't hurt yourself … ANDY: About how I can get rid of Stackhouse so this town don't get into worse shit then it has already JASON: There you go, blaming me again! I am a COP. I uphold the law. Well, I will, soon. ANDY: All you seem to wanna uphold is what's in your pants Stackhouse and that aint what makes a good Cop!  It takes a lot more than just learning how to use your night stick! JASON: Well, it makes a good tent. ANDY: [Pinches the bridge of his nose like he's beginning to get a head ache and shakes his head back and forth] MR: Okay….Among the missing citizens of your area, a known vampire named Bill Compton was reported weeks ago. Some have said that the Renard Parish Sheriff's Department isn't doing all that it can to locate the man who, under federal law, is entitled to all the same rights as your human residents. What do you say to critics who claim that your department is operating under a prejudicial policy? ANDY: Vampire Bill is technically dead so he can't be officially missing, but for the record, he has been found. JASON: I don't really know what you're talking about darlin'  [crosses his legs and rubs his chin thoughtfully] But can you put that I'm thinking intensely about this in the article and make me look good? [flashes a cheesy grin] MR: We'll see [winks] ANDY: What I meant to say was we are doing our best to locate Mr. Compton. Had he still been missing, this would have been  Jason's first case. MR:  But Mr. Stackhouse isn't a deputy. ANDY: Well Bill Compton isn't technically alive so it works. MR: Sheriff, are you suggesting that an untrained, unofficial deputy would have been assigned with the Compton case because the victim is a vampire? JASON: That just ain't right, um Ma'am. I single handedly took out a whole hillbilly drug cartel all by myself. Ain't no better training than hands on. MR: So you would trust this summer camp graduate in an important case such as this? JASON: [snickering] It was a little like summer camp. But with more violence and less cumbaya. ANDY: That is not what I said. You're twisting my words. I never said he would be doing this on his own.  He would of course have some very qualified assistance.  As for the rest of what you're fishin' for, no comment. [sneers] JASON: [whispering to Andy] We can do that? We can say no comment, like in the movies? ANDY: Of course we can, Stackhouse.  You didn't get to that part in the manual because you didn't read it yet! JASON: Well, I used it to keep the desk from tipping every time I tried to play table football. ANDY: Yes I know...I saw it on the video tape. JASON: Then why'd you ask? ANDY: I didn't ask you Stackhouse. I was stating a fact! MR: [clears throat] And finally, gentlemen, we understand that the Renard Parish Sheriff's Department's annual booster calendar will be available for purchase in the fall. Is it true that Mr. Stackhouse will be featured in nine of the twelve months? JASON: There's only me, Andy, Kevin, and Kenya. [leans in to the reporter] And between you and me, they ain't exactly pin up material. ANDY: I have not been informed of any calendar. This has Stackhouse written all over it [folds his arms and gives Jason a cold hard stare] JASON:  I figured we'd leave the other three months out since I ran out of film. ANDY: Maybe we could fit your sister Sookie in there Jason, being she's always at the station for some goddamn reason or another. JASON: [thinking about it] Nah, Sook won't do that, she's too shy. I could probably get Lafayette. MR: [Gives a bashful blush] Well, could we get a preview? You know, for the paper? ANDY: Oh God [rolls eyes].  I assure you Stackhouse and I will be discussing this matter at a later date after he's done with his "chores" JASON: You don't have to ask me twice, sugar. [unbuttoning his pants, and stopping short] Andy, you may want to step out for a minute, or an hour. ANDY: He's lying missy...he don't take no hour. You're lucky if it lasts five minutes JASON: Would you git? I'm trying to do some pubic relations here. MR: Oh! Um, I meant... I was asking about the calendar! But, maybe Mr. Stackhouse could sign my... our copy? ANDY:  It's Public Relations Stackhouse, get it right! JASON: [stopping and buckling back up] Oh, yeah, I can do that too. Whoops. MR: Gentlemen, thank you again for having me. I appreciate you candidness. ANDY: Anything for the press, ma'am JASON: See, right there is where you get confusing. I ain't had you yet. MR: Well we can remedy that and you can come home with me and give me a private show. JASON: I guess that's my cue to leave. ANDY: [grabs Jason by the back of the collar] Oh you're leaving with me Stackhouse. I think it's time we get you fitted for a proper uniform and I assure you that it will not have Velcro seams. JASON: Damnit Andy!  You sure know how to piss on someone's campfire! MR: Well, this appears to be a record.  I have managed to live through this interview unlike my predecessors.  [checks out Jason's ass as he walks out of the door]  Oh to be a notch in his belt, but then again, considering his track record with women…I'm probably better off. Stephen Moyer Being Considered to Play Dr. Doom

Stephen Moyer, True Blood, Bill ComptonOnce again, several famous comic book movies are getting the reboot treatment. The Fantastic Four franchise is just one of many that are being remade and need a full-on new cast. Though details are currently slim about this project, screenrant.com says that Twentieth Century Fox is taking a good look at Stephen Moyer for a possible role. Comic Book Movie confirmed to screenrant.com that Fox has a strong interest in pulling in Stephen to play the villain Dr. Doom in the franchise, so we may hear soon that Stephen will be playing a real villain. More details will be made available about the Fantastic Four reboot after X-Men: First Class (a reboot of the X-Men movie franchise that had Anna Paquin playing Rogue in it) begins production. What do you think of the possibility of seeing the actor behind the brooding anti-hero Bill Compton becoming a true villain in the next Fantastic Four installment? Would you go see a Fantastic Four movie with Stephen Moyer in it? Inside the Wedding of True Blood's Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer

Sookie Stackhouse, Bill Compton, True Blood, Anna Paquin, Stephen MoyerAnyone who sees True Blood costars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer together notices how happy they are together. The newly-married couple has a lifetime of happiness to look forward to, after their intimate ceremony in Malibu last weekend. US Weekly has details on the wedding, as well as reflections from friends and family. About 150 guests were in attendance, including True Blood castmates Ryan Kwanten, Sam Trammell, Carrie Preston, and Rutina Wesley, as well as series boss Alan Ball. Immediately following the 20-minute ceremony, Stephen celebrated by running into the ocean for a swim with a few friends. The reception that followed was purple-themed, from the flowers to the tablecloths. An all-organic menu including truffled grilled cheese with apricot mustard and beef Wellington with smoked ketchup was served by Eco Caters. Todd Lowe, who plays Terry Bellefleur on True Blood, provided music with his band, Pilbilly Knights. Their fellow actors on the show and members of the crew recall how long it was before they knew anything about Stephen and Anna's relationship, but now it's so obvious in their on- and off-screen chemistry. Cathy Waterman, who designed Anna's diamond engagement ring, as well as the wedding bands, says,
"To watch Stephen glow as he and Anna fell in love was simply gorgeous. They are lovers and friends and make the world a sunnier place."
Everybody agrees that they are such an atypical Hollywood couple because of how comfortable they are with each other, whether it's holding hands as they stroll near their Venice, CA, home, or relaxing with friends and family at a party. As friend and costar Carrie Preston says, "[Anna] really feels like this was all meant to be." Looking to the future, Anna has mentioned that she would love to have children, "if I'm blessed with a body that will give them to me. Or even if I'm not. There are many ways to make a family." She already has a great relationship with Stephen's kids, Billy and Lilac. Lindsay Haun, who plays Sookie's cousin Hadley, mentions that Stephen and Anna have talked about childproofing their home:
"I'm sure a baby is in their future!"
In the near future, though, Stephen and Anna are scheduled to present an award at Sunday night's Emmy Awards, after which they are expected to take their honeymoon. True Blood's Deborah Ann Woll Talks Vampires and Season 3

Deborah Ann Woll, True Blood, Jessica HambyThough Jessica Hamby doesn't appear in Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse novels, she has become an integral character to the television adaptation, True Blood. The actress who plays the red headed baby vamp, Deborah Ann Woll talks about season 3, her fangs, and Jessica's changing attitudes. If you're not a fan, Jessica was turned as a punishment for Bill Compton killing a vampire to save Sookie in Season 1. She was taken away from her Christian roots and thrown into the blood flowing vampire society. Though Season 1 gave us a very bratty Jessica, Season 2 and 3 has given viewers a very vulnerable, but powerful vampire learning the ropes of the supernatural world as well as the adult world. Deborah thinks Jessica is growing up fast and has already seen more than most 17 years old girls do. Viewers may have notice a change in Jessica's attitude, but they won't notice how much she's grown up until the end of the season. It's surprising to see how much Jessica has grown, given that her character was only supposed to have a two or three episode arc. Deborah becoming an integral part of the cast, for her, was a pleasant surprise. In Season 2, Jessica confront her family and, for Deborah, that was an important moment. Viewers were able to find out who Jessica was on a deeper level. Before this meeting, Jessica could be shrugged off as annoying or innocent, but upon meeting her family and the environment she grew up in, viewers gained a new respect and understanding to the character. Deborah notes,
"If you had been told every day of your life that you weren't good enough, that you were ugly, that you weren't worth anyone's time, then the minute that you got any kind of freedom, wouldn't anybody take a mile? And I think that was the moment, at least for me and I think for the character, that we were able to go in another direction."
The most impressive image of the family meeting was when Jessica slammed her father against the wall. Being tall helped Deborah alot; her height helps her match most boys or men on television.  Though they rehearsed a few times, the scene was only shot once or twice. When viewers are seeing this scene, they get a glimpse of Jessica as a powerful vampire. Jessica herself is still learning who she is. In the HBO promos, there are scenes where Jessica looks into a mirror checking out how she looks with her fangs and without. For Deborah, the fangs do a lot of work for her; they can create a very intimidating look when in real life she doubts she can intimidate anyone. She reveals,
"You just have to show those pointy little dangerous knives in your mouth, and people listen."
Though unknown to the audience, for the first five minutes Deborah puts on her fangs, she has a lisp. However, fangs seem to be a plus, as well as the goo and gore she's covered in for every episode. Deborah loves getting dirty because for her it makes her a better actor. She's also been strapped to a flying rig, where she entrusts her life to a big burly guy pulling on a rope. While Deborah finds it fun, Jessica's time high flying have been negative ones, but Deborah hopes that Jessica will have a positive flying experience in the future. Jessica tends to get thrown around quite a bit. Thankfully, Deborah did some stage combat training when she was younger, where actors are taught how to fall, and how to take a fake punch. In addition, Deborah goes into every fight scene with an open mind and find the experiences fun. Aside from her fight scenes, Jessica has had a lot of scenes with different characters. Deborah as well as the writers have successfully created different chemistry between Jessica and the other characters. Deborah admits,
"Jim Parrack [as Jessica's human boyfriend Hoyt] is a terrific actor. I'm so glad he's getting recognition in this part and I'm so glad that I get to be involved in that, because it's just very easy to look him in the eye and have a feeling and he really brings that out in people. And then of course, with Stephen and Anna [Paquin as Sookie Stackhouse] – old pros. What else can you say? It's so effortless for them and I look at that and I admire it and I hope one day to have that. For me, I still have to go home and work for twelve hours [laughs] before I can get a bit of what I need. I hope some day to be able to just transition that smoothly between life and extra-life [in character].
In between Season 2 and 3, Deborah has spent her time being involved in three feature projects as a supporting role. She's a part of the horror film Mother's Day, the detective story Little Murder, and the drama Highland Park. She's also been involved in the True Blood webisodes. After being involved with 3 different characters for three different movies, coming back to Jessica and True Blood felt like coming back home for Deborah. And now, her home has werewolves. She is loving working with the wolves and respects that although they're trained, they're still wild and do what they please. Aside from her scenes with the wolves, Deborah's favorite scene from the show would have to be Jessica's first meeting with Hoyt. Deborah is proud to work with such a brilliant actor and considers him a dear friend. As for interacting with other vampires Deborah thinks,
"Jessica might be a little overwhelmed right now [laughs] and not worried too much about "cool." That's kind of what I like about Jessica – I like that she's not cool. We're trying to show that within the vampire world, there is a range and you can have ultra-cool Pam and Eric, and then you can have kind of fumbling around, doesn't know what she's doing, making a lot of mistakes Jessica. And it's fun to try and represent that spectrum."
This season Jessica has faced and will continue to face some challenging moments. She has to struggle with living in a society where some people dislike vampires. The 3rd season will show the darker side of Jessica...viewers will see the things that perhaps vampires must do, but feel shame in doing. From a scared human to a powerful vampire, Jessica has grown with every episode. Deborah is also growing as a new and graceful actress in Hollywood with many more years of exciting and thrilling work ahead of her. True Blood's Rutina Wesley Likes Tara as a Human

She loves her role and all the weird things occurring in her storyline.  Rutina Wesley plays Tara Thornton in the Emmy-nominated hit TV series, True Blood. Rutina spoke with Fancast.com about Tara and other things True Blood.  Like working with James Frain as Franklin.
"James Frain is one of the most amazing actors that I've worked with.  It was so much fun.  He's so professional.  He's so good.  He's funny.  He's charismatic.  It was hard sometimes to keep a straight face in some of those scenes because he was so funny.  One time we busted out laughing when he was doing the fast texting during a take."
Tara is so very anti-vampire now, which includes Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer).  How will that impact her relationship with Sookie (Anna Paquin)?  Rutina said they are "best friends forever".  So they shouldn't stay angry with each other for long. But Jason (Ryan Kwanten), on the other hand, was a betrayal.  His revelation about killing Eggs (Mehcad Brooks), according to Rutina, "was like a punch in the stomach" for Tara.  She admits it's probably going to be difficult for Tara to get over that one.  Her life-long hero killed the man she loved and didn't tell her.
"It's going to be interesting to see how Tara handles the information.  Hopefully she'll handle it well and stay in her right mind."  Well, no spoiler there!
Rutina said she couldn't give any spoilers away about the season finale.  She did say that it would be "awesome".  This season dwelt on the characters learning about themselves.  So we will see how they handle what they've learned.  As for Tara, she's going to try to "stabilize herself and find some kind of footing on solid ground". No clue either on how King Russell (Denis O'Hare) will end up.  As one of the strongest vampires, Rutina said he will be "a tough cookie to crumble". The interview went on to discuss Rutina's impression of the wedding of Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, her favorite Season 3 scenes, and Tara's bad luck with men.  And who do you think she believes would be the right man for TaraSam Merlotte (Sam Trammell).
"I love to see those two together because they make sense to me.  They really get eachother.  I just don't know if Tara will ever be stable enough to see him for who he is and see that he's a good guy."
Rutina said she'd like to see Tara go back to the Tara we know and love.  To see her get back on her feet and be strong again.  She's been traumatized enough.  As for wishing Tara was not human?
"I actually love the fact that she's human.  To me that's the interesting part of the show, the human reaction to everything.  Tara tells it like it is.  A lot of people don't listen to her, but usually she's right.  She's very observant."
Is Tara right about Bill?  Will she ever talk to Jason again?  Will Tara and Sam get together for real?  Guess we'll just have to watch and see. Source:  fancast.com (photo credit - fanpix.net)
