Deputy Kenya to keep order at the AAFCA Awards
The African-American Film Critics Association's second kudocast will recognize the achievements of Robert Ebert, the late Lena Horne and Melvin Van Peebles on December 13, 2010 at the Ebony Repertory Theater in Los Angeles. Tanya Wright, True Blood's Deputy Kenya Jones, will be a presenter at this star-studded event celebrating the work of a varied group. Roger Ebert is one of the most well-known film critics in the world. Horne, singer of "Stormy Weather," died in May 2010 at the age of 92. Van Peebles won a Daytime Emmy for writing a "CBS Schoolbreak Special" episode in the early 1980s.
