Kristin Bauer van Straten Makes Special Appearance at Bow Wow Beverly Hills
Well-known for her animal advocacy, Kristin Bauer van Straten (True Blood's Pam) showed up in support of The Amanda Foundation's annual Halloween event in Beverly Hills on October 28th. This is not Kristin's first time attending an event for The Amanda Foundation. In July of 2010, she attended the Patterns for Paws event that was hosted by the foundation. The Amanda Foundation rescues dogs and cats from shelters, treats and rehabilitates them as needed, then places them in loving homes. This year, twenty-one stores participated by hosting dog adoptions. Also set to benefit from the funds raised is the Amanda Foundation "spaymobile," which offers their services to individuals who otherwise could not afford them. Driving into underserved communities, they can spay, neuter, and vaccinate your pets. Another familiar face, Tara Buck (Fangtasia waitress Ginger) was also on hand.
