New True Blood DVD and Blu-ray Sneak Peek

HBO is giving us a sneak peek into what we can expect to see on the new True Blood DVD Blu-ray edition when it comes out on May 19, 2009. In the Blu-ray edition there will be an interactive map of Bon Temps that allows you to explore various scenes and have an idea where everything is located to each other. The Blu-ray will also provide detailed information about the history of each vampire and Lafayette's commentary about the locals of Bon Temps. Also included in both DVD and Blu-ray editions six audio commentaries from the cast and crew of True Blood including Alan Ball, and bonus footage including dating service and vampire hotel ads, Tru Blood ads, vampire rights amendment announcements and more. Starting May 4 HBO On Demand will be broadcasting sneak peeks of the True Blood DVD Blu-ray, but for now we can take a quick look. Don't forget to buy the DVD or Blu-ray when it comes out on May 19, 2009 so as Alan Ball mentioned, to send a message to HBO that the fans want True Blood to return for Season 3.
