smrestraintStephen Moyer's movie "Restraint" will be will be having a small theatrical world premier from April 2 - 8, 2009 at the Chauvel Cinema in Sydney, Australia before being released nationally on DVD. The movie originally entitled, "Guests" was shot in Sydney and is about an on the run criminal who has just committed murder and his stripper girlfriend who decide to hide out in what they think is an abandoned mansion which really in fact houses an individual who suffers with agoraphobia (fear of going outside). When they discover homeowner Andrew in the home and they take him as a hostage but as time wears on you start to wonder who is really the hostage and who is the one in control. A very good psychological thriller to keep you wondering what will happen next. The film features Stephen Moyer as Andrew, the agoraphobic homeowner, Travis Fimmel, as Ron the criminal on the run and Teresa Palmer as Dale, Ron's girlfriend. Stephen now stars as the lead male role on Alan Ball's hit HBO TV series True Blood as Bill Compton, a 173 year old vampire that comes back to his hometown of Bon Temps, Louisiana and falls in love with a telepathic bar waitress, Sookie Stackhouse played by Anna Paquin. Teresa Palmer was 19 at the time when she filmed Restraint which has helped launch her movie career with her latest movie "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" starring Nicolas Cage to be released in July 2010.
