Kristin Bauer van Straten Reflects On Her Relationship with IFAW

Campaign to Save Marine Life

Kristin Bauer van Straten (Pam) has worked closely with IFAW, the non-profit marine animal advocate group for two years and has recently written a blog reflecting on her work with them. Bauer van Straten has traveled the globe on behalf of IFAW from Washington D.C. to South Africa to Sydney, Australia (as she chronicles on her Twitter and Facebook fan pages). Kristin met with many IFAW staff and of course the wondrous creatures themselves--whales! Reflecting on the year and on all she's seen and heard she has this to say:
"Looking back can't believe how close we came to seeing a return to commercial whaling. It makes me even more committed to do everything I can to keep fighting until commercial and scientific whaling is relegated to the history books for once and for all."
Kristin is still fighting for whales and urges everyone to join in by donating directly to IFAW. You can also make a difference by purchasing her husband Abri van Straten's CD 'Sunlight and Shadows' (which is amazing) and a dollar from every CD  will go to IFAW. So give a gift that makes a difference this holiday season. Click here to read Kristin's full blog. Submission thanks to: Donna Got a True Blood-related tip? Submit it here!
