True Blood's Janice Herveaux to Appear in Vampire Diaries

Olivieri Lands Guest-Starring Role:

Dawn Olivieri, who played Alcide's sister, Janice Herveaux in season three of True Blood, episode 'Nine Crimes', recently tweeted about an upcoming new role. Olivieri said in a recent Twitter message:

@itsDAWNolivieri: Vampire Diaries…my new character 'Andie Star'... you are not going to want to miss this one...

Olivieri, who has also appeared in series like 'Heroes', 'Cold Case', and 'Entourage' to name just a few, will be playing the character of 'Andie Star' in The Vampire Diaries. Olivieri's character is a Mystic Falls local newscaster who will, according to Olivieri, 'be spicing things up' on the supernatural series. No word as yet on how long Olivieri's guest stint may last.
