True Blood stars Anna Paquin was dazzling in her gold Stella McCartney and Stephen Moyer was fantastic in a Burberry tuxedo gown at the 2010 Golden Globes this week. She told US Weekly that she tried on about a hundred dresses before finding the right one! She accessorized with vintage Stephen Russell jewelry and an Alexander McQueen bag. Anna had a team of people helping her prep for the big night. Fiance Stephen Moyer joked about having to stay upstairs by himself while she got ready: "I'm very good at leaving madam alone when it comes to these things."He added that they enjoyed their date night at the ceremony and the after parties, especially because they are so busy working these days, and it is rare for them to get a whole night with each other since "a lot of the stuff that we are doing is not together on the show." Hmmm, one wonders what that means for the length of Bill's captivity and Sookie's search for him? The results of the Golden Globes did not seem to dampen their evening, nor did the rain in L.A. as they walked the red carpet. Anna and Stephen were all smiles. She did not win the award for Best Actress in a TV Series - Drama, which would have been her second consecutive in the category. Instead, this year's honor went to Julianna Marguiles for her performance in The Good Wife. True Blood was also nominated for Best TV Series - Drama, but lost to Mad Men.
