True Blood's Grant Bowler Lands Two Film Roles

In a previous interview Grant Bowler discussed some of the hard times he had to go through while pursuing his career as an actor and it seems his time has finally come.  Not only did Grant get the opportunity to get cast in the role of of the were-biker Coot on one of the best shows on television right now, True Blood, but he has landed two film roles. Grant is set to star in the action film The Killer Elite and the indie drama The City of Gardens which will be shooting this month overseas. In The Killer Elite, Grant will play Capt. James Cregg, an SAS officer and war hero who is one of the targets in a plot by private British vigilante group to eliminate a band of contract killers.  He co-stars with Jason Statham, Clive Owen and Robert De Niro which will be shot in Australia. The City of Gardens is about a young California surfer in 1980 who is framed and thrown in a Peruvian jail for political prisoners before escaping. Grant will play schizophrenic inmate who is stuck in solitary confinement and goes by the name of Jesus Christ.  Grant will co-stars in the movie alongside John Robinson, James Remar and Deborah Unger and will be filmed in Peru.
