True Blood's Patrick Gallagher Supports At-Risk Kids

Patrick Gallagher, who plays vampire Chow on HBO's True Blood, is one of several celebrities filming a Public Service Announcement (PSA) in Burbank on May 23rd produced by ARC Talent Management. The intent of the PSA is to promote "Big Kids Care," a huge fundraising event scheduled for July 21st.  The message will provide education to the public "that positive programs are needed for our At-Risk youth". Support will be for programs such as those by the non-profit organization, San Bernardino County Prevention, Resource, Intervention, Mentoring and Education (SBC P.R.I.M.E.).  The services they provide are for At-Risk youth aged 13-21, mostly from low income, probation and foster care.
"SBC P.R.I.M.E. offers workshops on independent living skills as well as mentoring to keep the youth focused on becoming better members of our society.  "It's so sad to see teens that don't have a chance in society, why not try to give them some hope," said Crystal Butler- founder of SBC P.R.I.M.E. Program."
