kristin-bauerKristin Bauer the 5'9", 35 year old actress who plays classy, sexually ambivalent Pam the vampiric assistant to Eric Northman the Sheriff in True Blood,  has been added to the CBS drama pilot House Rules which is written by Michael Seitzman (North Country) and is being executive produced by Mark Gordon (Grey's Anatomy) and Deborah Spera (Army Wives) for ABC Studios.  Dan Minahan (True Blood, Grey's Anatomy) will be directing the pilot.  He's previously directed episode 5 of season 1, "Sparks Fly Out", of True Blood and directed Episode 1 season 2, "Nothing But the Blood" which will air June 14th, 2009 on HBO. The show will follow the newly elected cohort of congressmen and women as they start their DC careers. Bauer (True Blood) will play a newly elected Democrat from California who is estranged from her husband. The show is in development for the 2009-2010 television season. In January, ABC Studios and ABC Entertainment merged with the intent of providing the ABC group with content, but House Rules will be the first time a non-Disney network has purchased a show from ABC Studios.  House Rules will be made in conjunction with The Mark Gordon Company. Along with Bauer, the show will star Eion Bailey (Can Openers) as Alan Levi, Sean Bridges (Deadwood), and Tawny Cypress (K-Ville).  In addition to True Blood and  House Rules Kristin will be appearing as Sarah Drake in Francis dela Torre's new movie Subject: I Love You which is based on the May 4th, 2000 computer virus created by Irene de Guzman from Manila, Philippines and her brother Onel de Guzman that struck business across the US and the world overwriting important documents and crippling email systems as it self propagated through Microsoft computers email address lists.
