Record For Most Titles On NYT Best Sellers List at One Time

Charlaine Harris True BloodCharlaine Harris, the author whose Sookie Stackhouse mysteries are the template from which HBO's powerhouse television show True Blood takes shape, has landed on Entertainment Weekly's elite list of "10 Power Authors by the Numbers," as announced in the October 15, 2010 issue of the magazine.
 
Harris was lauded for being the only author who has ever had nine titles on the New York Times bestseller list simultaneously.
 
She is in excellent company with Entertainment Weekly's (EW) nine other Power Authors including Nora Roberts, J.K. Rowling, Glenn Beck, Malcolm Gladwell, Stieg Larsson, Stephen King, Stephenie Meyer, Janet Evanovich and James Patterson.
