True Blood Nominated For The Golden Globe Awards

goldenglobestatThe Golden Globe Award nominations are out this morning and True Blood has been nominated in several categories!  True Blood has been nominated for Best Television Series - Drama and Anna Paquin for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series -Drama.  Also in other exciting news Anna Paquin has also been nominated for Best Actress in a Mini-Series or Made-for-TV Movie for her portrayal in "The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler." Also Carrie Preston's husband, Michael Emerson has been nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for LOST. Great news for True Blood fans as we will have the opportunity to see the cast of True Blood hopefully standing up on stage accepting the award for Best TV Drama and Anna sweeping the awards in her categories!
