Letting True Blood fans out there know that Alan Ball, the creator of the hit HBO series, will be attending the British Film Institute (BFI) in Southbank to celebrate all that is HBO! BFI is hosting an entire weekend in honor of HBO on the 24th and 25th of April. This is a weekend dedicated to exploring the phenomenon that is HBO! Alan will be appearing on the 24th of April at 6:30 pm. Alan will have a chance to discuss not only True Blood but also the incredible work he did on the iconic series, Six Feet Under. We all know to that Alan Ball also wrote "American Beauty" for which he took home the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. The weekend will also feature an in-depth look at HBO, Larry David, a look at the newest HBO miniseries, The Pacific, and much more! Sounds like an exciting event and a great way to celebrate HBO!
