Ashley Jones, best known to us as True Blood's Daphne, will be one of several hosts at the Step Up Women's Network 4th Annual "I Dream to..." Photojournalism Exhibition this upcoming Saturday, April 17th in Culver City, CA. On exhibit will be the work of talented teen photojournalists, each of which had the opportunity to meet with, interview, and photograph a woman in the career field they dream to pursue. The final project consists of each teen having their very own gallery display and a blog on which they document their experience. Aside helping host the exhibition, Ashley was a mentor to a couple of this year's "I Dream to..." participants. Two young woman who Ashley mentored wrote in their blogs about their experience. One of the the young women, Suzie Q. (Albia Cruz) aspires to be an actress and was thrilled to have Ashley Jones as her mentor. Ashley shared with her insight on being famous, dealing with rejection for roles and the philosophy to never give up and perseverance. Frankie-Jo Gonzalez's describes her dream to be an actress as a way for her to express herself through acting and being different characters. As Ashley explained to Frankie-Jo to never give up and to always follow your dreams and that although there may be ups and downs in the business, to follow the positive aspects.
